Η εικαστικός Έλενα Χατζηαθανασίου γεννήθηκε και εργάζεται στη Θεσσαλονίκη. Μετά τις πρώτες σπουδές πάνω στα Ιατρικά & Βιολογικά Εργαστήρια, αποφοίτησε με Άριστα από την σχολή Καλών Τεχνών του τμήματος Εικαστικών & Εφαρμοσμένων Τεχνών του Α.Π.Θ. Στα έργα της, προσπαθεί να δείξει την αέναη κίνηση του κόσμου, της φύσης, της ζωής και κατ’ επέκταση την αλλαγή του παγκόσμιου κοινωνικό-πολιτισμικού μας χάρτη, εξαιτίας της μετακίνησης των πληθυσμών σε ολόκληρο τον πλανήτη από τα προϊστορικά χρόνια μέχρι και σήμερα. Τα κινητικά γλυπτά της δίνουν ένταση στο χώρο και προκαλούν διάφορους συνειρμούς. Τα υλικά που χρησιμοποιεί είναι το πλεξιγκλάς και ο ανοξείδωτος χάλυβας. Έργα της βρίσκονται σε ιδιωτικές συλλογές στην Ελλάδα και το εξωτερικό.
Helene Chatziathanasiou is a Visual Artist who’s born and living in Thessaloniki. She have studied medical laboratory at Paster School and Fine Art at Aristotle University with an excellent rating. On her art she tries to prove the perceptual movement of the world, nature and life. From prehistoric times until today, people have never stopped moving from region to region and from continent to continent, forming new frontiers and new worlds. With these changes however different civilizations and cultures are transferred. Her kinetics sculptures have conceptual meaning. The materials she uses are usually the plexiglass and stainless steel. Her works are in private collections in Greece and abroad.
